Could you tell me if there is anything other than vinegar to clean floors with. I have spotting and streaking after I mop.

Try using a dry towel or cloth instead of the mop and a spray bottle for the vinegar/water solution.

Mop should be squeezed nearly dry. Clean a section at a time. Toss down an old towel and rub back and forth to dry and prevent streaking and spotting before moving on to the next section.

make sure your dry sweep the floor first...sounds like either the mop is too wet or floor is just too dirty
