My basement bathroom door hits the toilet when it is open and only opens about halfway. The door is a 28" door and I am wondering if I can use a 24" door instead this way it wouldn't hit the toilet. I am not sure if a 24" door is too small for a bathroom can anyone clarify if that size is alright to use?

Thanks,

Ive seen a lot of 24" doors in bathrooms, including two in my own house. Its plenty big enough. The only thing I can think of is to make sure there are no code issues in your area. I wouldnt think so but its always worth checking.
