Is there a line of products that people prefer to use for stripping, staining, polyurathaning? How's Cabots?

For staining and finishing, I have used Minwax for years, never been disappointed by the products. The finisher, however, has made lots of mistakes. I prefer the old enviornmentally nasty strippers, but they come with lots of "don't do this", which are valid instructions. There are several citrus type strippers that are better for the casual DIY, but a brand does not come to mind.

Cabot's makes good exterior stains, I don't know about interior. I agree that minwax is a consistently good product. Most paint stores have their own lines of stains and varnish/polys - also usually good products.
I prefer not to do any stripping :D
