Can someone please show me how to remove the float from the brine tube for my GE softener? I want to follow the animation trouble shooting from kenmorewater. I can pull the float part way up but it interfered with the top blue frame. My tank is up to level 7 with salt and water. Thanks in advance. Khanh

If it is like other softeners made by Ecowater, you should be able to remove the tube in which the float assembly is, by removing the nut/screw holding it to the cabinet. Once the tube is loose, you should be able to pull up the float assembly from the tube in the tilted condition and take it outside the cabinet for testing. Use your owners manual to show you the layout of the parts.

I just finished replacing the venturi kit, rotor disc and seal kit from softenerparts.
Follow the BR direction form kenmorewater and had the water level down where it should be. Now the unit seems to function a gain. Thanks for the suggestion. I can see that I have to tilt it to get the float out (if I have to get to that part). The only thing that I am afraid of is I can not tilt it back in place because of the full tank of salt.
