I'm a Rest Area Attendant which means I am a janitor at a rest area. We use a concentrated glass cleaner called Glance HC. Even with proper dilution after cleaning the windows it leaves a haze on the glass that has to be wiped off with a dry rag. This is caused from the ammonia in the cleaner which doesn't evaporate like the water does. I was told the other day to put a drop or two of dish soap such as Dawn in the spray bottle along with the glass cleaner. I tried it and it works and I'm sure this will work with other glass cleaners such as Windex.

Used glance before never had a problem...i would caution mixing anything with something that contains ammonia thou. It changes the make up of the chemical, which then changes the MSDS. Since you are employed by someone and they are responsible for making sure that no one gets hurt that may be a issue. Never tried the mixture so do not know how well it works. Not trying to bash on you, just giving you the same answer a OSHA rep would.
