My 832 w/5015 & LCD5500 keypad was working fine until I had a phone line failure a couple of weeks ago. When the phone line was restored I now have a solid trouble light and when I *2 it says "communications".

try to set off the alarm to force communication. this will usually clear this trouble.

make sure to call your alarm monitoring service first and let them know you are testing your system.....
