A while back I added an additional ADEMCO 6150 in my garage for my ADT alarm system. I put it in there so I would have the capability to arm and dearm from that keypad so I could put my truck in the garage as soon as I get home or arm it when I leave. The way it is now, I can arm when I leave, but there is no delay so as soon as I exit the garage or open/close my garage door, it sets the alarm off. And I don't believe it will dearm at all.

How do I set it so it has a delay and will allow me to arm and dearm?

If those zones are on individual zones, or on a zone together, you will need to change the zone type to a delay type zone. If those openings are combined with other openings that you want to stay instant, then the actual wires will need to be shifted to one of the zones that is already a delay zone.
