Sirs:
I am working on 4hp Johnson-2cyl. I have spark coming from power pack to cylinder 2. There is no spark coming from power pack to cylinder 1. I checked output directly from power pack which tells me that it will have to be replaced.

MY QUESTION: Motor will not hit at all when cranked. Since I have spark to one cylinder---should the motor fire on the one cylinder?

Probably not.
