When tiling up to a cabinet or tub, what is the spacing I should be allowing? Is it the thickness of a tile like I do with the walls? Thanks.

1/8" space between the tile and the tub is good. That gap gets caulked. The idea is that you dont want tile or grout rubbing up against the tub. There will be some movement in the tub and the floor so you need a soft joint (the caulk) there.

Great. What about the side that's up against the cabinet? Same thing, or should that be grouted?

What cabinet? Are you talking about a vanity that you tiled around? If so caulk that also.

Yes, a vanity. I'll caulk that also. Thanks.
