I'm brand new to all this and I just bought a Simon 3 online. The box came with a sticker on it that reads:

"This box contains a Simon 3 Version 4.11 for ADT. It includes the Unsupervised Handheld Local Alarms Feature."

On the panel there is an ADT logo and when you open the panel there is a paper overlay on the first 4 buttons that says "Functions Not Available". The buttons are under the Control Menu and are labeled "Unit #" , "Entry/Exit Delay", "Sensors" and "Time".

I would like to use offsite monitoring with this. What functions am I missing out on? Is there a work around? Am I SOL?

Thanks in advance and apologize if there is already a thread on this.

Mine had the sticker with the panel BUT it was not stuck on. I have been able to use all of the buttons that would have been covered by the label, no problem. You'll need an owners manual (let me know if you need one e-mailed) and you'll need the ADT programming code of 6321. Once you open the cover, you'll need to first enter that code to begin programming

Thanks for your reply. It's a relief. I was burglarized last week and I need to install this thing.

My label wasn't stuck on either and the guy who sold it to me wouldn't tell me what it meant or how to work around it. I do have the Installation Instructuctions and the User Guide.

Thanks again.
