I have a DSC system that was installed in my house about 10-12 years ago. After time, the keypad seems to be worn out. Can I simply do a plug and play replace of this keypad or do I need to have this done. After having read seveal threads from others, it sounds like there may be some type of programming invloved. Any ideas?

Yes, the new keypad will need to be set to the same address as the new one, then you will need to run the device supervision routine to delete the old keypad and enroll the new one.
