Thanks or MrRonFL's help along the way I have made great strides in perfecting my alarm but would like to make a small change from the setup I had before. The zone definition section in the programming manul explains about Zone Definitions Digit #2, I am interested in setting it so I would be notified if my patio door in my basement walkout is tripped. I think I would have to put it on [01] but am not sure. In the basement is also a motion sensor that would be on [02] I believe.

You attach it to whatever zone input you plan to use, then you program the zone input for the correct type of function. In this case, either an instant zone (01) or a delay (00).
