I am considering installing a mini-split a/c heat pump unit. Locating the inside "blower" unit is of concern. The wall where the unit will have to be mounted is approx. 22' long, divided in the center by a 7' wide floor to ceiling stone fireplace. On one end of the wall is a patio door and on the opposite end is an entertainment center. There IS room to locate the blower unit above the entertainment center OR the patio door. The actual wall height is 9'-0" with a cathederal ceiling in the room.
My concern is where to locate the blower unit. If I were to mount the unit above the entertainment center, we would be looking directly at the blower unit whenever we look at the entertainment center/tv, etc..
Could I build a "facad" and place it in front of but extending outwardly, to "hide" the blower unit? The facad would be built so that it would not block the airflow coming out of the blower unit.
Any other thoughts or ideas on how to "hide" the blower unit?

The only way to effectively hide an a/c blower is to mount it in a concealed location and run ducts which you cannot do with a mini-split.
The more you try to hide it the more it affects the airflow.
You can however get a single system that comes with two evaporators.
Perhaps it would look better to have one on either side of the entertainment center.
