I'm just looking to gauge the difficulty and amount of time it will take me to install about 6 new interior doorknobs, and one exterior doorknob. I am a novice, so I just wanted to gauge how difficult this will be for me to complete myself, and also get an approximation of about how much time I should expect for handle.
Also any advice prior to me ordering the materials and getting started would be appreciated. Thanks --

Allow 1/2 to 1 hour for each replacement. Longer if you have to drill the holes for new door installation. A cordless drill driver is handy for driving the screws.
Watch the backset distance. Most doors are 2 3/8 in. backset. This is the distance from the edge of the door to the center of the knob shaft.
I would buy locksets that are reversable to fit either left hand doors or right hand doors. Good luck.
