Read over the following thread: http://forum.doityourself.com/showthread.php?t=291653
His keystroke sequence for setting the zones is on the money. All you have to do is substitute the correct zone type for the correct zone number.
Use zone type 05 for the motions, and zone type 01 for the doors (which will make them all delay zones; use 03 if you want them to have no delay).

If you are not using resistors, you need to turn on option 1 in programming section 013.

The power series panels are a rare instance where they did something rational, and all of the models (432, 632, 832, 864) use a common programming template for basic fuctions.
go to program: enter section 001
enter: 05 05 01 03 01 00 00 00
exit programming by pressing #
Normally, you don't need to mess with the settings in 202-205. Programming the unused zones as null in the zone type setting usually does the trick.

Check to make sure you didn't change any of the function key settings when you were working in the keypad programming section.

Hookay, First, if you altered keypad programming, defaulting the panel will not fix it, because the keypad programming has it's own default routine.
Try this: Go to program
enter 000 for keypad programming
enter 1 for programming function key #1
Enter 03 for stay arming
enter # until you are back in run mode.
If you have all the other stuff right, the function key should activate stay arming. Most likely you accidentally programmed the key for funtion 11 (*5 user programming command) when you were trying to set the keypad address.
If you _read_ the how to program instructions, in section 4.5 you will find clear instructions on how to view and interpret the contents of any programming section. That way you can verify that a location contains what you intended to program into it.

The exit delay still runs, even in away arming. The doors won't trip an alarm until the exit delay runs out.
