I have both AC/and Swamp cooling, and a heat pump. I picked up the Hunter Auto temp (for heat pumps). I wired the evap/ac switch like it had been.
The new thermostat requires a "C" wire which was not on my original CT87A Honeywell round thermostat. Had the heat pump/ac unit replace in the summer of '05, no "c" wire was run to my thermostat.
Any help would be wonderful. Thanks
K

If you are able to fish new wire to the t-stat, then you can use C.
Otherwise, you will have to get another t-stat like Honeywell that can be used with C or battery.
