Heat Pumps and Electric Heating - Central Heating System Problem

I HAVE (ELECTRIC CENTRAL AC/HEAT) AN OLD RUDD OUTER UNIT(OUTSIDE) AND IN MY ATTICK LUXAIRE model efd01sgb.IT COOLS AND HEAT EXCELLENT.I have it maintenance check up on regular bases.last year ,a new 3 stage sequencer part no. 2787 in luxaire unit was replaced. It was runnig excellent untill last month I noticed that heater/indide blower was constantly running(NON STOP).I try to turn off by thermostat, but still running.Then I turnoff circuit breaker for few minutes.After I turn on circuit breaker, then it started working normal again.Untill yesterday I noticed it is constantly running(non stop) .Can any one help me to understand what is wrong in my unit??Is it thermostat?? or something else?? Shall I continue to turn off and on circuit breaker to operate it?...please help.I also called a specialist,he thinks sometimes older units does that.If I turn off the circuit breaker for few minutes and turn back on it will reprogram and would work normal.I need another openion please tell me if it is dangrous????

From what you say Id say call a tech to check it out. As the tstat didnt do anything. It can be in the board or just a
sequencer again. You dont say if its all the unit outside and in or just the inside blower. Again I think call some one to check it out for you

It could be just one of the sequencers. If the sequencer sticks and the heating element stays on it there is a device that will sense the heat and make the fan come on and stay on until it cools of or the sequencer un sticks. some times one of the sequencers will control the fan and one element. in that case it is just that the seqencer is stuck. you could try to bump it and it may stop but it does need to be replace if it is sticking.

since I posted my question,I tunedoff my circuit breaker once and my heat blower probably reprogramed somehow and is turning off and on by thermostat now......
