I am in need to be pointed in the right direction.
the Sony tv that I have is giving me a problem,
the issue is that when it is turned on the screen
continues to blink on and off for at least 10 minutes
and it only does it when it is first turned on.
the channel is displayed in the upper right hand corner of the screen, after 10 minutes or untill the tv warms up
the blinking slows down, the screen will go blank for a second and then back to what ever the tv show is on. the tv is hooked up to Dish, it even does it when I run my DVD player. Any ideas from anyone would be greatly appreciated.

If you're comfortable with taking the back off your television, there is a screen voltage dial on the inside that you can turn slightly clockwise to increase the voltage. That should cure your problem for the time being.
