Hello everyone,
I want to increase the entry delay. I have the installer code and the programming guide. The instructions are: Step 1. Press Enter Step 2. Enter the installer code. Step 3. Enter the 3 digit section code. Step 4. Enter the data. I have done this and the system seemed happy. The enter and zero key were lit up but I do not know what to do next. Have tried pressing enter and clear in several combinations but these did not work and save the change I made. So here I am hoping someone can help with the final steps I should take. Any help will be very gratefully received. Thanks & regards, John

Sorry, I don't work with Paradox, and do not have access to their site for the installer manual. What does the text in the section on "how to program" say? Often the programming data entry key will be * or #.

Thanks - very good of you to reply. To key data 1-9, you use the same keypad keys. As there is no mention of what key to use for zero, I enter a value of 111 for the 3 didgit figure required to give me a delay of 1min 11 sec (this will be ample for my elderly mother). The other values given cover what keys to press for values A-F which I do not need. Hope this helps. Thanks & regards - John

Sorry, without the word for word text from your install manual, I am relying on your interpretation. The fact that you are unable to save your changes tells me that you may have skipped a sentence or paragraph somewhere.
These systems are all different, and often the key combinations is counter-intuitive.
Zeros for example, if not entered with the actual "0" key, are often entered by entering a Hexadecimal "A". Without being able to actually look at an install manual text for this system, anything I can add is just an educated guess.
