What's the transmission range for these guys...and can they be placed inside the control box???
I've got 4 walls (sheetrock & wood studs) that the signal needs to travel through.
I'm waiting for my equipment so I cannot test yet...just thinking ahead.
Thanks,
Mas

The range is a couple hundred feet, assuming no major electrical interference or lots of metal. The receiver is designed to mount in the system can with the antennae poking out the top.

Can the 5881 be used to increase the amount of wireless zones for the Lynxr-EN?
If the Lynxr-EN is already maxed out with 24 wireless sensors, can the 5881 be used to increase the number of zones?
I'm thinking of getting a couple 5800Wave wireless sirens if I can't get the x10 Powerhorns to work with the Lynxr-EN - but I'm out of zones on the Lynxr-EN panel.

No, the 5881 receiver is meant for full scale Vista panels. With an all-in-one like the Lynx, you are stuck with the systems built in limits; there's no expansion path.
