I am currently remodling my bathroom and was thing of reversing the door swing of the door. As it stands now, it open in to the right and directly behind it is a linen closet that opens out to the right. Would it look ok if I changed the entry door(the one that swings in to the right) to swing in to the left which has a bathtub directly behind the door? When open this new placement of the door will be half covering the bathtub. Physically, it can be done, but is it astheticly correct? Any input will be appreciated.

Popping the hinge pins and propping the door against the tub area should give you an idea of what it will be like.

Reversing the door and keeping an inswing will require you to remove the hinges and remortise them in the opposite stile. The hinges on the door will have to be reversed, and remortised into the edge of the door. The striking system will have to be reversed to the other stile as well. You can picture this with the door off the hinges and in the reversed position, like you did to visualize it's overall appearance. It is a fairly detailed job, but definitely a DIY project.
