A design article in our local paper showed a picture of a home office with a supposed Marge Cason frog lamp on it. I love that lamp but have not been able to find anything on the net about it. Anybody out there have access to Marge Carson accessory catalogs or know how I may find out more? It is a frog sitting holding an umbrella, which is a tiffany-like lamp shade.

It is actually a Maitland Smith product. Found it listed on their website and starting bid on Ebay is around $900.00! I guess it retails for $1,600... way out of my price range. I live in the Detroit area and saw the picture of the lamp in the article you posted. Did searches for Marge Carson and came up with nothing.

The lamp looked outstanding. Of course, anything that looks outstanding costs a bundle. I love frogs. Ah, but we can dream.

Did you go to www.margecarson.com? You can request a catalog and look at other wonderful and expensive items.

LOL! Isn't that the truth! I am staying away from the website. I'm already heartbroken over the frog! It would be so perfect. Boo hoo. I'm sure one day I'll find something that excites me just as much. Until then, I'll have to do without.
