Got a problem. I purchased a Honeywell RTH3100C Digita Thermostat to replace a Trane Weathertron analog thermostat.

The Trane was wired the following way:
X2 - Black
O - Orange
G - Green
Y - Yellow
T - Tan
R - Red
W - White
U - Empty
F - Empty

After calling Honeywell Support, I wired the Honeywell per their instructions.

E - Black
Aux - White
G - Green
O - Orange
L - Empty
R - Red
B - Empty
C - Blue

The thermostat works except for the Manual Fan. I did a test of connecting (touching) the green wire to the red terminal and the fan still would not work. The old Trane thermostat works by having the power that goes into the Auto/Fan switch go through the same green wire. Of course, the wire that goes into the switch in the Auto position comes from the mercury switch.

I went to the Q&A section to try and get an answer but no positive answer came.

Can someone help me?

From what you say you have there I cant see why the fan dont work. R is power to the tstat and the G is to the fan relay. So forget the tstat if you jump R to G the fan has to run if the wires are ok
