I have a DSC PC5010 and a LCD5501Z keypad. The trouble light is on, but there are no troubles listed when I hit *2. The ready light is also on and I can arm the system.
Any ideas?
thanks.

sometimes the trouble light will light if the time or date has been lost.
try setting it and see if the light goes out.
good luck

Thanks for the reply. I've tried that, but it didn't help.

It's this very obscure glitch that happens when one "fat fingers" the keypad while turning on and off option selection programming. It applies to any of the programming locations that are labeled "for future use".
