My daughters ipod nano plays music but the screen is lit bright. The menu is not legitable, you can see a few letters but cannot make it out. Would restoring it help or do I need a new screen?

I would say that you need to adjust the contrast, but you can't do that with the Ipod Nano.

So can I restore it to factory settings? If so how do I do that? Or do I have to send it out.
