I posted a similar question before, But now have done some research and had a water test.
Water:
PH-7.4
Hardness 6
Iron- .4
TDS-180
I have a provector system I can install for $500, or do I just get a water softner.
My issue is yellow/orange iron stain.
I had two estimates who both recommended softners (of course that's what they sell)
Nelson Water System (mechanical Fleck valve, metered and timed) $1150
Water Right Impression series $1500 (Fleck like Valve- electronic)
Size and specs are pretty much exact.
Do I go Provector or softner? and if softner, which one?
I keep hearing the provector will have issues
