I have a sanyo dvd player and am having problems with the sound...it occassionally has a lot of static...Is there any adjustment or cleaning that I can do to eliminated this problem?...Thanks for your help...

Is it playing through the TV or a stereo receiver?
What type of cable connection is it? Optical? RCA? Coaxial?
Make sure that the cable connections are secure.
I don't really think there is anything that you can clean. There could be an adjustment needed, but it depends on how it is connected.

I have it connected thru a cable with red/white/yellow pushon ends.....I also have a vcr connected via coaxial.....everything is tight...It doesn't happen everytime?....any suggestions?
