Looking for info on an SR4910M made by Sanyo. The fridge started freezing everything - sounds like a thermostat problem??? I removed the part - doesn't appear like it could be anything else.
Q1 - The copper wire that attaches to the transfer unit at the back is insulated. Seems odd that it would have insulation where the bracket is.
Q2 - Where can I find a replcement part (DTB-U426) or find out about an alternative. The part seems to be scarce - I found one in CA but they won't ship it to Canada.
Any assistance is appreciated. Thanks.

Unless this is a special compact fridge the cost of the stat would be at least 1/2 the cost of a new fridge. Those things only cost about $80 bucks.
It probably has a refrigerant leak and is causing it to freeze.
