I have a Hot Springs Spa that seems to attract small green frogs. they congregate around the waters edge and do not seem to mind the 102 degree water. Any solutions?

Hi Kevin,

You could keep it covered or invite the predators that eat frogs into your yard which include birds, snakes and lizards.

We live in Central Florida and the hot tub is always covered when not in use. The small green frogs congregate around the edge. I find dead frogs in filter and consequently a funky smell. I have to empty and fill far to often. We have three of these Hot Springs Spas in our small family resort

Your local Agriculture Cooperative Extension Agent should be able to discuss frog control.
