i am very new owner, am tired of floor lamps. I have sloped /vaulted celings in a bedroom and den.
What types of lighting choices do i have- other than wall lamps (dont give enough light)- can i use recessed lighting. The attic does not go into these two rooms.
Any help would be great. thanks

Installing recessed light in finished vaulted ceilings can be expensive and messy. Holes are usually needed in drywall to get wires to the proper places, and it depends on the size of the rafters for proper clearances. If there are exposed beams, it is somewhat easier to run/hide wires, but still not easy.
