Hi!
I have Peachtree Windows and would like to remove the window grilles.
I wrote an e-mail to Peachtree Windows asking them for advice - no reply
Will I have to saw them out? They are not between the panes of glass but are only attached to the frame on the inside of the double sided window.
Is it possible to loosen something or do I have to put something ( like a thin piece of metal sheeting) between the glass and the grill section I want to cut in order to protect the glass?
Thanks in advance for any help - it is deeply appreciated.

If they are not easily removable, they are glued on and the adhesive is a good one. You may damage the glass getting them off.

I have removed the plastic ones before, but it leaves a small gap that you have to recaulk all the way around the surround. I did it very carefully with a Rotozip and fine disc. Now, with Peachtree, they are probably wood, and are probably glued/taped to the glass, so be really careful.
