My 2-year old Kenmore Power Miser 12 gas water heater will not drain.
I turned off the cold water intake valve on top of the tank and opened the "hot" side of a couple of faucets in the house. Yet, no water comes out.
If I open the cold water intake valve on the top of the tank, the tank drains the incoming water right out with little sediment.
Appreciate your help.

Try opening the t&p valve after opening the drain valve.
