Hello,
My wife and I are in the midst of building a new home. This is our first new home with a builder. Does anyone have an example template on the proper sequence of events in building a home? ie.( finance, slab, framing, etc.)
I have a good builder, but would like more information on what to expect.
Thanks,
Joey

This is kind of how the chain of events go. Financing, foundation, framing, enclosing the house, installing the doors and windows on the exterior, installing, the roof, electrical, plumbing, furnace, then sheetrock, finish work, kitchen cabinets, appliances, flooring, trim and etc. It will go fast up through the enclosing and roofing. Then everything will slow down. It seems like electricians and plumbers always slow things down. After they are done, things will speed up. Good Luck and enjoy the process.
