Is there any way to get pvc glue off a fiberglass tub? The wife is about to kill me over the "purple stains"

We've had a few converstions since I've been part of this site about removing PVC glue and no one has ever known a way to do it. You're probably going to have to get the surface refinished.

Sorry, but have yet to stumble on anyone who could remove it. There are companies that specialize in fiberglass repair. If there is not one listed in the yellow pages, contact a local plumbing supply store who likely knows someone in the business.

No luck here either. I would consider refinishing and buying your wife a expensive gift.
