I had some acid from a AA battery leaked onto my couch cushion, I assume baking soda or the paste would work. How about coca-cola, pouring a small amount over the acid stain? would that work since the cushion is already black??

Pour baking soda on the acid spill on couch cushion to wick out the acid and neutralize it.

And forget the coke; it's acid also.

If the acid was on there for a long period of time and it soaked into the cushion itself, not just the cover. The best suggestion would be to remove the cover, neutralize it and replace the cushion. The cushion would never be able to be completely 100% rid of the acid and would pose health concerns. if it was just a little bit than thats ok. Not trying to be negative, just going with the 100% safest way.
