In regard to skunk odor on dogs, many, including vets, recommend mixing the following ingredients for bathing dogs:
1 quart 3% Hydrogen Peroxide
1/4 cup Baking Soda
1 teaspoon liquid soap

An important note: the only safe liquid soap to use is Dawn. This comes straight from my vet.

Nature's Miracle Skunk Odor Remover. Available at stores like Petco & Petsmart. Tomato juice will just give you a pink dog.
