I currently have a Kenmore side by side refrigerator with ice dispenser and water in the door - model 596.9535610. My ice maker has died and I need to replace it. I have found some brand new similar models but I am not sure if they would work with my unit. The ice maker that I have is model 106.626639. The comparable models that I have found are first part# 2155469 or # 106.626661 or # 106626661. The second one is Kenmore Ice Maker 61005508 106.626640. I am hoping so much that one of these will work. If these won't work and someone knows of somewhere that I can purchase a replacement at a more reasonable price than Sears, please let me know.
