I recently moved into my first house and the water temperature in the house takes a long time to heat up resulting in smelly washed clothes and long waits for the shower. The house is brand new so I am pretty sure that the hot water heater is sufficient in size for the house. My question is: How do I adjust the temperature to a higher setting so I can get the hot water that I need? I looke for a dial of some sort on the tank but to no avail. I do know that there are wires that run to a zone box. I am not sure if it is in there.

I had a superstor 45 installed about a year ago. This unit stores hot water circulated as if it is another heat zone using a furnace's circulator. So there is no temp adjustment on the superstore because its just storing hot water heated by the furnace - Its not heating water itself. There should be a mixing valve (with numbers on it) off the superstor's hot water outlet - This mixing valve mixes in cold water to feed your hot-water pipes with the temp that you want.
I haven't been able to sort out the numbers on the mixing valve, but just moving it like 1/8th of a turn makes big differences in my water temps...
