I put a bathtub pillow with suction cups in my mauve colored marble jacuzzi tub. Now the tub has white circular marks on it where the suction cups were. How do I get rid of these marks?

It is possible that the porous marble absorbed the plasticizers in the suction cups. Marble polish may be effective. It is available in some cleaning product aisles and at stone suppliers. There are also marble polishing compounds available for DIYers. These tend to work on minor stains. Severe stains usually require a stone pro.

If this is real marble, do not bring anything out from under the sink to clean. Use products labeled specifically safe for marble. Avoid abrasives and harsh cleaners containing acids. If marble polish does not remove the stain, then call a local stone supplier to assess the stains and to see if it is possible to buff them out.
