The hot water pressure is very low for both the sink and the shower in one bathroom. There are no leaks in shutoff valves for sink - haven't checked shower. Low water pressure in the rest of the house is fine - even in bathroom just below this one. Cold water pressure is fine throughout house. Any ideas on what I can try before calling in a professional?

Do you have an exposed shutoff valve leading to just this bathroom on the hot water side? It is possible the hot water washer in this valve has become dislodged from the stem and is impeding the flow.
