How do you check a televisions capacitor I guess to see if it's working correctly? Because I am still having problems with this tv where when you plug it in, it buzzes and won't turn on or nothing just buzzes a high pitched buzz.

Unless you know what you are doing, which it sounds like you don't, I wouldn't even open the TV. You can get seriously injured/killed by opening electronics, especially TVs.

Either take it to get repaired or buy a new one.

Ho man I used to fix TV.
If only the "capacitor" was faulty when the TV buzzes,
Ho man would we/I be rich today.

Normaly it is a LOT worse than that, take my word for it.

If you are looking for a faulty capacitor only because the set buzzes, I suggest you get the professionals to fix it
