I have just moved into a old home and would like to install a new IKEA ceiling light.
It is a basic light containing three incandescent 60 watt bulbs.

The back of the IKEA fixture has 3 wires:
1 black and 1 white which are wired to the light bulb sockets and a green wire which is attached to a nut in the back of the fixture, I assume for grounding.

The problem is in the ceiling wiring.
The box had a ceiling fan installed in it. My father in law removed the fan without notice and disconnected all the wires.
The Box in the ceiling contains:

2 Holes
1) with 1 black and 1 white cable these are live but I turned off power to the room.

2)the second hole has 4 wires 2)blk, 2)white.

I know two of these wires (1) black, 1)white are for another switch in the hallway. These are connected to the black and white live wires in the following order blk,blk and wht, wht.

My Problem (finally)
the 2 wires that are left I assume are for the switch in the room of the light in question but I do not want to take any chances connecting and maybe shorting the place. Any help appreciated and hope this is clear.

Connect the switch white wire to the black wires in the ceiling.
Connect the fixture white to the other whites in the ceiling.
Connect the fixture black to the black from the switch.
