Hello, new to this site. My problem is i have a ThermoPride 0H-5 oil furnace that the fire will cutout for about a second or maybe less. It re-ignites just fine, but this creates a pressure condition which bangs my draft regulator. So far i have changed the nozzle, and the inline filter. I cleaned the striner on the pump, and i checked my tank for water. This is a two pipe system as i have a buried tank. The furnace is approx 11 years old.
This problem is driving me nuts as it happens probably 100+ time through a run cycle and it will wake me up often. Any help would be greatly appreciated

You can have a pin hole leak in the oil line from the tank to the burner. sounds like it is getting air in the line.

Either high vacuum on the suction line or an air leak. Replace the oil filter with a spin-on with a vacuum gaige and install a Tigerloop. That will eliminate a ton of future headaches and will make it easier to troubleshoot.

now this is a two line system. I didnt think a tigerloop would work with a two line system ??

The Tiger Loop replaces the return line. The advantages are several. There is a reduction in flow which in turn reduces vaccum & improves filtration. There is also the added benefit of burning warm fuel in the case of an outdoor tank.
