I have a magic chef forced air gas furnace that is probably about 20 years old. Lately it has been working, however, blower has been shutting off and on every 5 or ten minutes, but has continued to work up unitl this point. Now the furnace will light when I go through the start up procedure, but after about a minute or less, there is a click and it shuts off, the blower does not come on at all.
Thanks for any suggestions or helpful hints anyone can provide.

just to let everyone know--the fan had indeed stopped working--was going to cost $400 to replace, so we had a new furnace installed.
