I have a kenwood VR-407 Receiver that stopped receiving the signal from the remote control. I know its not the remote because my cable box remote won't work either. For the last couple of months it would work sometimes but now it has stopped completly. Is this something I could fix my self or is it a expensive fix at a shop?

minimum fix is probably 100 dollars even if it takes them two minutes
