I have a quick question for anyone willing to help me out. I have a hand-me-down 27 inch Zenith that's probably about 7 years old. The TV works, though I've noticed that the picture is getting worse. When the TV is showing something with a black background, you can see a transparent "ghost" image to the right of whatever is on the screen. Also, the colors have become pretty saturated and look like they "bleed" over the lines, especially the color red. The sharpness is really bad on it as well. Contrast is down and Sharpness is all the way up in the settings and it doesn't really make much of a noticeable difference. The last issue it has is when I switch TV/Video say to play Xbox, the screen is black by default and theres vertical lines maybe about an inch to 2 inches across the whole screen, it also looks like a "ghost" as 1 line is dark and then 1 light, 1 dark, 1 light, etc.
Basically I just would like to know if the TV is worth getting fixed. It's a big TV and if it's worth getting fixed, I'll do it but I want to avoid paying someone to look at it for me and then tell me repairs are going to cost $200. Thanks!
