The best thing to do is to call in a professional and let him treat your property. Watch him carefully to see what tools and chemicals he uses and if you feel comfortable with working with tools and chemicals, then you will be able to do the job, the next time your home needs treating. Just be careful around the chemicals, wear gloves and goggles and read the labels and provide plenty of ventilation when working indoors.
You can find pest control supplies doing a search.

Professionals have the experience, tools, and chemicals to inspect and provide termite control. There are no warranties with DIY residential termite treatments. A professional inspection will be able to tell if it is old termite damage or new. Empty bait stations is not an accurate assessment of active termites. Termites may be present but simply passed the bait stations by. A termiticide barrier prevents termites from entering the structure.
