what is the best way to install that metal right angled corner beading to plaster boarded walls? just glue it on with cornice adhesive or do you have to nail or screw it on?

Are you referring to sheetrock when you say plaster board? if so, nail it up with sheetrock nails, being careful to keep it perfectly centered all the way up, and indenting the nails slightly so your skim coat will cover from the bead to the adjoining wall for a finished look.

i dont know what sheetrock is, but plasterboard(drywall) im referring to, drywall i think is more common in america and UK and those areas, i hear plasterboard used commonly in australia, same stuff.

I assume plasterboard is either the same or very similiar to our sheetrock/drywall.
Their is a crimping tool that will attach the cornor bead without nails but IMO nails do a better job.

TheMechanic, I guess using the term "sheetrock" may be a misnomer, since it is a brand name. You are correct using the term "drywall", but it has become commonplace to call the white 4x8x1/2" crumbly stuff sheetrock.
