Hey:

I am looking for an "Old Timer" like me, in your 50's for help on this item.

When I was a kid, we had a glass cleaner that when it came out of the can was a light reddish color and you applied it on the window with a rag and let it dry to form a hazy film. Then you polished it off with a clean rag. You could also use it at Christmas time to make stencils on the windows. Now, does anyone remember this product and it's name? I am looking for it to use for the holidays.
Thanks in advance for any help available.
Take care
Dan

I believe what you are thinking about is "glass wax".I'm not sure if it's still in production but if it is it is hard to find.

Vermont Country Store seems to have similar product but also appears to be out of stock.

Real Glass Wax came in a pink oblong metal can.

Glass Wax is now called Window Wax which is similar. You can Google for Window Wax for online sources to order before Christmas.
