I used to come here all the time when I was finishing off my basement. Now that that has been completed. (albiet 2 years ago) im ready to dive back in and finish the bathroom. (at daughters request lol) Ive always loved this site and the advice I have recieved. Now, with that said, on with the question...
My toilet is all stubbed in and capped. I know I have to cut the stub off level with the floor. what do I need to do to install the closet flange?
A) should I get some concrete anchors and anchor to the floor or....
B) would PVC pip cement be suffice to hold it place?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. :-)

Cement the flange to the stub... and anchor the flange to the floor also... If you're doing a tile floor - or any other type that has "height" to it... install the flange on top of that surface.
